...we usually have to cramp ourselves into limited space in the normal sized hotel rooms when we travel, tripping over each other in bed and fighting for the use of bathroom a few times a day. My family of 3 (two adults, one 10 year old boy) stayed at GT6B for a week in April, 2012. The apartment is on the 6th floor, in a apartment building off Zhong Xiao East Road, about a 7 minute walk from the Zhong Xiao Dunhua station (and minutes away from Din Tai Fung). Howard and the Opohills team are completely organized, courteous, and professional. The apartment was clean and big enough for the three of us, with two working air conditioners and a washing machine. Since we arrived and left on a weekend, we were asked to go through the apartment to check that everything was working and accounted for on our own. Make sure that you go through the items carefully on arrival - there were a few things missing from the apartment when we arrived (which we may have been charged for if hadn't told them up front). Also note that there is a large security deposit and they expect you to clean the apartment before you leave. They are very honest, and since we did everything they asked to the letter, we received our entire security deposit back via paypal within 5 days of leaving. I would definitely recommend Opohills for any future stay in Taipei.

I chose the Zhong Xiao apartment because of its convenient location - being at the heart of Taipei City, getting to the business district, shopping centres, sightseeing spots and places for food are all so easy. But what I was impressed the most was the apartment itself - its decoration is modern, comfortable and cosy.
